Happy New Years

Well its New Years Day and today is the last day for me to having any real food. Not for the rest of my life, no that would be torture. But for two weeks prior to surgery they want you on a liquid diet. Why has not been precisely stated. But it apparently has something to do with your liver I believe, where they want your digestive tract as lean and clean as possible, so they can easily push aside your liver when they are putting the band in place. That's probably a horribly poor explination or interpretation, but suffice it to say they want me to do a liquid fast before surgery, so that's what I'll do.
